Terms & Conditions of Use

By accessing and using this website (PartSmart.uk), and by placing an order through this platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the scope of the relationship between you (the buyer) and me (the private individual operating this site).

1. Private Seller Status

PartSmart.uk is not a registered company or retail business. I am a hobbyist and private individual selling personal goods. These are not business sales, and you are buying from a private party, not a trader or retailer.

2. Accuracy of Descriptions

I make every effort to describe each item accurately, including clear photos, condition notes, and relevant details. However, minor variations or subjective interpretations may exist. Most items are second-hand or refurbished, and age-related imperfections may be present. Please ask any questions you have before purchasing.

3. Payments

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

  • Currently, I accept PayPal. Additional methods may be introduced in future.

  • No items will be dispatched until payment has cleared.

4. Shipping & Handling

  • I personally pack and ship each item.

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 2–4 working days of receiving payment.

  • Delivery time depends on the chosen courier service and your location.

  • I cannot control postal delays once an item has left my hands but will assist where possible.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • I am not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this site or your purchase.

  • This includes delays in delivery, errors in item descriptions, or damages that may occur post-delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—photos, text, graphics, and layout—is original or properly licensed. Do not use, copy, or reproduce this content without my express permission.

7. Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to:

  • Cancel any order.

  • Refuse service to any individual.

  • Decline transactions I suspect to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith.

8. Dispute Resolution

Should a dispute arise, I aim to resolve it through open and respectful communication. In the unlikely event legal action is pursued, all matters will be governed under UK law, and proceedings must be initiated within the UK jurisdiction.

By using this website, you agree to all of the above terms.
